The last four computers I've purchased have all been Dells,
and I've been happy with that choice.
The one comment I have to make is about a 24" All-in-One.
That sounds like a system that is "neither fish nor fowl";
too large to carry around comfortably, but not as large as
I'd choose for a desktop system (especially as my eyesight
is not what it was ten years ago).
The most recent computer I purcased was one of the Dell
Micro Form Factor systems. My wife uses that as her main
system for all the household tasks (accounting, email, ...)
The system itself is contained in a 7" x 7" x 1" box (which
can be wall mounted), leaving desk space clear for monitors,
keyboards, mice, etc.

While my personal experience with all in one systems has been with
iMacs, I'm not thrilled with them.
The iMacs had great monitors, which I'd then have to replace when the
processor became obsolete.
The other thing I'd worry about is the quality of the monitor, whether
an all in one actually has an IPS monitor that is suitable for
photography.
I've also run into the same issue as John, needing ever larger monitors
as my eyesight fades.

Is this one of those refurbished 24 inch all-in-ones? I'm not fond of
24" displays. I think 27" is really a minimum size I can recommend (and
for my own use, 32" is better).
What kind of budget are you working with?
I would suggest looking at one of those "Mini Computers" (Windoze
version of the Mac Mini).
You could pair these & still get out for ~ $600 (or maybe a little less)
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Micro-OptiPlex-3060-Built-WiFi/dp/B0BF97Z7T2
($300 from Amazon)
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2721QS-Ultra-Thin-DisplayPort-Certified/dp/B08DQWG3JG/
($270 from Amazon)
... as much as it gripes me to suggest buying anything from Amazon after
what Bezos has done to the Washington Post. I'd hope you could find a
better deal from a different vendor.

John,
I just ordered your suggestion - the mini box (after confirming a few
things) - sounds perfect and size good. But I found a different 27"
inch Dell screen
for $137. I had to confirm that I did not have to use wifi .
I hate using Amazon - but it is hte easiest thing here and they are used
to delivering packages to this building.
Thanks much!

I will buy locally whenever I can, but I often have to use Amazon to
figure out what is available.
Usually it doesn't cost that much more to buy locally... Amazon price
$100 - Local price $110 sort of thing.
And SOMETIMES, after I figure out what it is I want from visiting
Amazon, it's possible to find the item from other vendors for a lower price.
And IF I can find it locally I don't have to worry about porch pirates.
I've got a delivery coming tomorrow "between 11:45 A.M. - 3:45 P.M.". I
also have a scheduled appointment at the VA tomorrow at 1:30 P.M. and
can't reschedule either one.

JOhn - things a bit different in NYC .. almost impossible to buy
anything off the shelves anymore - amazingly my dumb TV actually was at
Best Buy in the store but that is very rare. Now that we have a coded
door on the apartment building I'm in and Amazon has the code they will
put it inside at least in the vestibule. I buy practically everything
that isn't food or drugs at the Salvation Army store about 1/2 a mile
from me.. I got a walker there that retails for $250 for $10.. bought
on a day when I had just wrenched my back trying on some shoes.. the
walker was something that someone had jsut brought in so I walked it
home. good for moving things around in the house.. I really don't need
it at all when I'm out and about. Nor a cane. lucky me!
at the moment I am moving furniture around to accomidate two computers
on one surface..

I Iove Amazon. They have everything and will often deliver the same day, plus delivery is free with Prime membership, More important, they hire people on the spectrum and train them. They hired my impaired and depressed 49 year old s son who hadn’t worked in 25 years and turned him into a happy and productive member of society. I applaud Bezos and his company and don’t give a rat’s ass about his or anyone else’s politics!

My "new" lens was delivered by UPS this morning.
I was kind of worried because they sent me a message it would come
between 10:45am and 3:45pm and I have a doctors appointment at 1:30 at
the VA hospital over in Durham.
I bought a used, like new, Pentax 28mm f/3.5 SMC SHIFT lens (K-Mount)
... gonna' do me some architectural photography.
All I gotta' do now is learn how to operate it & how to use it with the
K-1 (since it's not an 'A' lens) 🙃
