My "new" lens was delivered by UPS this morning.
I was kind of worried because they sent me a message it would come
between 10:45am and 3:45pm and I have a doctors appointment at 1:30 at
the VA hospital over in Durham.
I bought a used, like new, Pentax 28mm f/3.5 SMC SHIFT lens (K-Mount)
... gonna' do me some architectural photography.
All I gotta' do now is learn how to operate it & how to use it with
the K-1 (since it's not an 'A' lens) 🙃

Phishing attempts. The first URL he posted points to a web site that
invites you log in with your ADT smart camera. Needless to say, the
site does NOT belong to ADT and is there just to steal your ADT login
information.
His second email linked to a fake Netgear web site with similar goals.
I've reported both sites to their hosts (Namecheap and Unified layer,
respectively)

I just knew I wasn't going to click on any links from someone I'd never
heard of before who just randomly pops up all of a sudden ...
Otherwise it didn't bother me, so I just ignored them.

BTW: Both of those web hosts are notoriously spam/scam friendly, so
I'd be surprised if any action were to be taken.
Interesting point of reference: Most of my email spam used to be for
products and services (usually of dubious quality) but now more than
90% of it is phishing. Getting a lot of fake PayPal phishing scams
lately.
