Next week the SLV Post is going to be doing a short bit on my photography. Since my photos are already on display at Johnny’s Harborside, I’ll be doing a reception on Dec 4th, from 2:30 until about 4:30. Come by, say hi, I’ll also have some of my other work with me for the reception.

I saw Prince Andrew on Monday. I’d just dropped my Boris bike off at Green Park station when a whistle-blowing police motorcycle escort barged its way along Piccadilly, guarding two black Range Rovers full of cops. In the front passenger seat of the first car sat the disgraced prince of the realm, stony-faced.
I wondered what he’d been up to that required so many policemen to arrest him.
I didn’t see who was in the second car.

to it. I really would like to come if I could.
Maybe if I ever get to make my long deferred photo safari to the western
National Parks we can arrange a PDML style mini-meetup.

I'm not getting any younger, and there's a lot of the West Coast I'd like to visit (or, in some cases, re-visit).
My wife's knee-replacement replacement seems to be doing well, so there's a chance we'll both be up for some kind of photo-trips. She's not going to walk much, but many of the national parks have a friendly attitude to disabled parking placards, so in a lot of places we get to drive rather than walk or ride the bus. That was very handy when we visited the Grand Canyon!
