Yeah, but you could see the monarchs.

I saw Prince Andrew on Monday.

I wonder if this apparent whoosh was a variation on the theme of two nations separated by a common language. I am quite familiar with the monarchs of which Larry speaks and have been following their migrations since I was old enough to be aware of them. They rest in groves of tall trees all around this part of California.

See https://www.npr.org/2021/11/26/1059263867/the-butterflies-are-back-annual-migration-of-monarchs-shows-highest-numbers-in-y for an example.

I wonder if this apparent whoosh . . .

It's a joke, I say 'joke', son ...

I'm pretty sure Bob is savvy enough to know Larry was really talking
about butterflies (especially since Dan has been posting pictures of
the ones he raises each year).

Next week the SLV Post is going to be doing a short bit on my photography.  Since my photos are already on display at Johnny???s Harborside, I???ll be doing a reception on Dec 4th, from 2:30 until about 4:30.  Come by, say hi, I???ll also have some of my other work with me for the reception.

The facebook event is:
https://www.facebook.com/events/358500139380144?active_tab=about

I hope to see you there.

Unfortunately I'm probably not free then; Saturday is one of the days when we have an online gaming session, and it might well not finish in time for me to get to Santa Cruz.
(It's also possible that the game will get cancelled between now and then, in which case I'll try and make it over the hill).

What Nolan has demonstrated is a meta-whoosh in respect of my para-whoosh.

There was an even better ‘apparent whoosh’ in other John’s reply to my comment about the police escort.

Once again the PDML proves to be a good place for whoosh fulfillment.

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game (currently playing "Mummy's Mask").
Sometimes in-person, sometimes over Discord.

And on Sundays we're playing a Pathfinder RPG Adventure Path
(the group started off as in-person, but then our GM moved
out of state, so we're playing that with a combination of
Fantasy Grounds and Discord audio and video).
