Hi Guys,
I started the project needing a "thing" to do - a self assignment - back
in March of this year. March 16th, to be exact. Posting one photo a
day on
my Facebook timeline that was taken on the same month/day as my posting
date but from a previous year. Going back as far as 1973.. No "theme'
other than that.
for those who are on both FB and this list I havent shown them here, for
the most part, because people have told me they like to be surprised.
Now I am about to
start a new gallery on smugmug for photos taken between august 1st and
November 30th . SO here is the link to all the photos from March 16th
through July 31st.
I'm gussing about a third of them are ones many of you have seen over
the years .. There are some that have little stories with them..
Cory asked me how I remembered where and when I took al these.. I took
lots of notes ,, I kept travel journals and once I started sending some
to a stock agency I had to
know. But I've also been enjoying revisiting my travels and finding
stuff I had forgotten...
Hope if you look at them you are looking on a desktop or laptop and not
(just) on a phone - on quite a few the devil is in the details :-)
sometimes the captures are not my best because I had a hard time finding
a shot on a specific day, especially in the summer, because I'm not a
summer person.

Very cool Ann, lots of great shots in there, and no clinkers.
As to the exact dates, who's going to prove you wrong?

Watched it all on my big 27 inch screen. An exquisite collection and a
few bittersweet moments with Ashley.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks much, Ralf - so glad you enjoyed. I created it on my 27 inch
screen of the computer I acquired just before I started it. The 27"
monitor is why I put the big black frames around them.. I can't
look at anything on a white screen.. kills my eyes..
I can't believe Ashley has been gone a little over 4 years.. I've posted
many photos of her on FB and my friends there all loved her.

Just noticed with a bit of a shock, that Zenobe is only a few weeks away
from his 10th birthday. Where have those years gone? Time really flies
the older we get.

No complaints by your neck? I find screens bigger than 27 inch give me
whiplash.

No, I think it is important that the centre of the monitor is at least
on the the same height as the eyes .
I got a new desktop with an NVDIA Graphic card (RTX5060) providing at 4K
60 Hz beautiful but merciless images.
