Last weekend, my wife and I drove about an hour west, and spent a night at a pleasant inn that occupies a corner of a former DuPont family estate. The grounds were beautiful, and I took pictures as my wife strolled in the dusk:

Later that evening, we had dinner with friends; we had originally planned to meet the weekend after the COVID lockdown started.

Cheers,

Rick

Nice job playing her red jacket off against the red leaves.

Nice colorful leaves. Looking back I'm always surprised by the pleasant
colors rendered by the K-5/DA16-45 combination that I've used several years
until this lens got stuck.

Nice scene...but I confessĀ  I'd like less lawn in the forground to bring
your wife closer to the front and the buildings and trees as well..
changing the aspect ratio - that is, keeping the width the same.

Really nice image, although I agree with Ann that a little less lawn would
be nice.

Nice scene, very well captured. I agree with Ann's comment on the
foreground, though I didn't think of it till I read it. Maybe a
candidate for a 16:9 crop?
