I've never actually seen one - looks quite spectacular. Probably
wouldn't last long in the hot Lowveld.

Magnolia is a nicely shaped tree. Unfortunately the white to pink
flowers last only a few weeks in spring.

My mother's neighbour had one and she passionately hated it. The whole
mess always landed on her side. :-)
