I really liked the way my tree in the style of Pep Ventosa turned out so
I went back and photographed it again with my IR converted K20D:

Managed to get home before the bad thunderstorms started around here.
Bad weather again today, so I got to thinking what might I do with
"still life" here inside:

Instead of circling around the flowers, I sat an old whiskey decanter
bottle with some artificial flowers on a Micro-Go-Round turntable (left
over from my first microwave that didn't have a built in turntable).
Mounted the camera on my tripod.
Background is a sheet of Gator-Board leaned up against some bookshelves.
I set up a narrow beam of light to illuminate the side of the flowers
away from the camera.
I think the technique works better for the flowers with fewer images in
the stack.
