Do you have the slides from before & after this slide?

When I'm trying to figure out where I took a photograph and don't have
the info at hand it sometimes helps if I can figure out where the images
before and after were taken and see what Google maps will tell me about
how to get from the "before" location to the "after" location.

It will often spark a memory.

I hope this helps and is not just a distraction.

John - keep reading the thread... :-)  answer there and a nice link

I knew exactly where i was but not the name of individual peaks in the
range. .. and I always do keep ALL the frames when I was shooting
chromes , even if they are lemons, for the reason you mentioned.. in
addition to extensive notes ... because i was shooting a lot for stock
and I had to submit all info...

Dan and an Ansel Adams photo I saw on line got me a suitable answer..

You and I both often answer the original post, rather than the replies
that people make who saw the post before we did...  I can tell or
you wouldn't have asked the question :-)

Not a distraction though ..
