I have this Mac mini connected to a 20-inch monitor. Ever since I updated the system last week, whatever I’m working on fills the entire screen—no background at all, and no toolbar, no desktop. I have tried re-starting, no no avail.
Any ideas what is going on here?
Thanks for any help!

What happens when you hit <ESC>?

Did the update change the screen resolution? You could check that and
see if you need to reset the resolution. Windows setup gives you a
recommended resolution - don't know how Mac handles that.

If you are being chased by a pack of taxidermists, do not play dead.
If you’re using the current OS on a late model mini, your docs will collapse to the size you set when you pull them down from the top bar. If you’re not running the current OS, that may be your problem.

Hitting ESC did it. Thanks!
