Yeah, sorry, it's fantails again (I'm very fond of them). We had three of them in our garden this morning. One of them came to check me out. They're quite tame as people often disturb the insects they feed on. I had to keep stepping back because it'd come within the minimum focus distance of my lens (2m, about 6').

Once again I was fighting for light so I had to bring up the exposure in ACR.

A fantail came inside at my daughter's preschool today and fluttered around the building for a few minutes before finding its way back out.
According to Maori legend, if a fantail comes indoors it's a harbinger of death. But she found two four-leaf clovers in the lawn beforehand so maybe it'll cancel out.
