I had to deliver a parcel to a house in Sunbird, Ave, Phalaborwa
yesterday. Strangely, in all the years I have lived here, I have never
been there before. It must be the most upmarket street in the town with
many fine houses, especially this one, built on a double plot on a bend
in the Ave. A far cry from the typical Colonial mine houses most of us
live in. At 09:00 the sun was already blazing.

Not a bad little hovel…

Nicely exposed on the left but overexposed on the right. I haven’t done any panos; is that correctable in post?

Interesting shot. Some correction could be achieved in raw conversion and subsequently with photoshop tools. HDR would also work here.

Yes, Rick, you are quite right. The L/H frame was in shade & the R/H one
in full sun. I did take it down a bit but actually I should have been
there two hours earlier. The final Pano is just a large Jpeg so you can
PP as you see fit. With a Pano comprising two portrait frames you can
simulate a K1!

That’s a comforable-looking place in a pleasant-looking setting.

We live in a 3-storey row house, with the laundry in the cellar; so declining fitness may cause us to move at some point.

When I get so decrepit that I can no longer negotiate the stairs down to the
basement where the washer & dryer are located, I'm just going to wear the same
dirty clothes every day for the rest of my life.
