I'm surprised that I haven't seen a post here yet, but a couple days ago Ann posted to facebook that Marnie Parker passed away.  I expect that most folks are on both, but probably some of you aren't.

I only met her a couple of times, and I know that things got a bit rough for her the past few years.

That's really sad.  She's been absent from Facebook for several months
and I felt that some mishap had occurred to her.  Thanks for letting us
know, Larry.

Thanks for the note, Larry. I haven't been on Fb for years, so I rarely
receive current news like this.

Marnie was a valued member of The List for many years and always
accepted my gentle ribbing on the state of her inbox with grace. Meeting
her at GFM was certainly a high point of my tenure. I'll raise a glass
to her, and encourage you all to do the same.

AKA Doe, iirc.  Never met but always found her to be a thoroughly pleasant person.  Sad to hear she is gone.

I also never met Marnie in person, but I always enjoyed our online
interactions.  She was a sweet lady, and I'll miss her.  Raising a
glass to her now.

I wonder if she ever cleaned out her email inbox...

Here's a post-weekend group shot of the PDML at the GFM Nature Photography Weekend 2004. Marnie is right behind Frank Theriault (Frank's the guy with the bunny ears). https://www.flickr.com/photos/166715344@N04/55245068757/in/album-72157709063314541

Thanks for posting this - I'm one of those who don't use facebook.

I suspect I've got a shot of Marnie somewhere; she came to a couple of local PDML gatherings.
Unfortunately I'm in the middle of moving everything to a new computer after my old one died
rather unexpectedly, and my photography backups are scattered ove a variety of external drives.

Thanks for that - quite a large group (very few of whom that I can put a name to!)

I managed 10, with another 3-4 that I recognise but cannot name.
