2026 topics - part 2

My attempts keep getting blocked in Doug’s filter. I will try to send a few lines at a time and let you cut-and-paste the message together. Thanks for your patience!

I would appreciate any comments and suggestions; I will hope to finalize the 2026 list by early January.

Now and Then… This idea is a reaction to my impression that I, and many of us, are using PUG to pull out images from our archives rather than using the topics as a challenge to do new stuff. So, Now and Then. What I am thinking is a gallery where we would be encouraged to take both approaches. Submit one Now image, something done within the last year. Or submit one Then image, an older short from your archive. OR, submit two images, possibly both on the same theme, one contemporary and one from some time ago.  I can also imagine  Now/Then shots which show off new/old equipment, a different technique recently learned, New/Old preferred genres (e.g. Portraits to Landscape } ...

Construction
In the Style of (imitating another photographer or artist in a
photograph, bonus points for using a list member as your inspiration. I
am waiting to see the next faux Ansel Adams)
