These are growing quite happily in our yard. I think they are called Purple Bergenia. Anyway, the flowers are quite small, Maybe as much as 3/8 inch across. This is a 42 image pixel shifted stack (42 really is the universal answer, it seems). Shot using the K1 with a Fujinon 50mm f/5.6 enlarger lens @ f/8 on a Bellows K with a set exposure of 1/4 second.
