OT: Kruger Park Floods

Good day

We are having a bad time with the worst floods ever in my part of the
world. All "records" going back to 1953 have been broken by far. This
link gives some idea:

https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2026-01-15-kruger-park-deluge-sanparks-evacuates-les-letaba-closes-phalaborwa-gate-and-saws/?utm_campaign=Post-604&utm_medium=email&utm_source=CMS-1

The Lepelle Northern Water plant on the Olifants River is inundated &
had to be evauate so no new water cab be purified or pumped. The town
reservoirs are virtually empty. There are endless electicity problems
with the power on-and-off several times every day. All transport is
severely disrupted.

Enough said.

I meant directly as in your property being flooded.  The indirect stuff like closed roads and power failure seems to be easier to cope with, to me.
