Hey Guys

Screen shot of what I'm struggling with..
https://annsan.smugmug.com/Misceandvids/Ask-PDML-/i-gVmkFfs/A

I am hoping this is something simple  that can be solved with a couple
of clicks
My question is about resizing / expanding the width of a drop down
window that lists paper types..
I don't need the words magnified.. they are large enough on my 27" ,
but I want to see all the words.

couldn't seem to phrase my question well enough for A I  (automatic
imbecility) on line

thanks,
ann

See if you can expand the "Change Settings" menu box.

Place your cursor right over the right-hand edge & see if it will change
to ↔.

IF it does, click & hold while dragging it to the right to make the
"Change Settings" menu box wider, which should make the drop down boxes
inside wider as well.

That's all I can think of.

Ann, something to try. What happens if you hover your cursor over the
truncated menu item and wait for 2-5 seconds; does the full-length text
appear floating nearby?

[…] I want to see all the words.

I think it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to. The width of the list is a property that normally the programmers set. In this case they seem not have made allowance for longish names. You could raise a request with the help desk, but don’t hold your breath waiting for them to fix it.

It’s normally called a drop-down list rather than a window, which might be enough to confuse AI.

JOhn, Bruce, Bob  thanks for your suggestions ...  Hovering equalled
hoovering..  HOWEVER - I knew I had seen the full list somewhere -- so I
guessed that it was Adobe programmer's fault, not win 11
system.  although HP printer would not recognize the plain old print
feature , I could see the full list by opening the jpg simply by
clicking on "PRINT'
