stupid flash question

I managed to trash my AF540FGZ & I don't think it's repairable (since
AFAIK it's long ago discontinued).

Has anyone got experience with other brands of flash that will work with
the K-1 (or the K-1 II if I ever save up enough to buy one)?

I'm particularly looking at some of the GODOX flashes on Amazon.

I got a Metz 48 AF-1 digital for Pen/Sam that has been working reliable
for many years on my Pentaxes including K-1.
