Incidentally, it’s not extinct, merely pinin’ for the fjords. My understanding is that there is a breeding colony of them, descended from Genghis Khan’s flock, still living in a secret location not unadjacent to Ulan Bator, and everyone who buys one of the new Pentax film cameras will receive a free Spectacled* Cormorant**.
