John, having been shot with a non-Pentax camera does not disqualify a photo here, and hasn’t in several years.

I'm glad the PDML is still here, too. (And with a lot of familiar names).
I'm not posting photos to the group because nowadays I don't use a Pentax.
I've been very happy with my Olympus M1X, which is a lot easier to carry
around (a 12-100, 40-150, and a 2x TC cover pretty much anything I want).
My only concern was the lack of a backup body. I was considering getting
an M5 (or possibly even the M10) when one of our local camera stores put
a new in box M1X on sale for the price of an M5 ...
I keep promising myself that 'one of these days' I'm going to put together
a gallery of the images I use for screen backgrounds (the vast majority of
which were shot with Pentax cameras). If I ever do get round to doing that
you can be sure that I'll post it here.
Until then - a happy new year to everyone. I'll be seeing you ...

Very odd, Doug. I’ve sent 30-odd since then, and got responses. There was a pause of a few months after the last OS and Lightroom Classic upgrades, though, which threw my system for a loop and only got sorted out with a two-hour phone session with an Adobe help tech.

Sorry - should have been more specific.
I was referring to submitting something to the monthly PESO,
which as far as I know is still restricted to shots taken
using at least one piece of Pentax-branded equipment.

Yes, submitting to the PUG does require Pentax content - lens or body or
both.
There have been suggestions over the years to allow non-Pentax
submissions but have always been knocked down.
Maybe time to change?
Cheers

Ann, re taking a fall.. yesterday we visited a friend in the hospital, a lady in her 80s. She fell on the way into a store, broke left and right arms. Left arm (broken ulna and elbow) now has a plate and three screws after surgery yesterday morning. Right arm (ulna and wrist bones) will be a more complicated surgery tomorrow. She is very frustrated that she can’t hold a book, couldn’t turn the pages, and doesn’t use audio books.
Stuff happens, your caution is warranted!
