PESO: summer mushrooms

For the fourth season the dead chestnut in front of our house provides
me an opportunity to shoot mushroom pictures without much effort.
Surprisingly, the first clusters of mushrooms have now appeared in the
midst of summer with temperatures around 25 to 30 C.
These are dryad's saddle (Polyporus squamosus) and oyster mushroom
(Pleurotus ostreatus). The latter is shrinking very rapidly at this
temperature.
No doubt other species like the velvet shank will appear in autumn.

Nice, my daughter enjoyed them too.

Spring seems to be coming early here.  The daffodils are out and I'm seeing plenty of blossom lately.  I also saw my first spring lambs today but they usually appear around now.

Cheers,
Dave
