So not only did waiting a while to change battery fix the problem I had
but I learned that one can find the Shutter count of any camera by uploading
a jpg file of the last photo you took with your camera to a site and it
will give you the number of frames you took.. for me, that number as of
yesterday
was 25,106 and supposedly a Pentax K5's limit is 100,000.
I hope I get a better shot with the K5 I thought had died but
meanwhile.. here is one I dashed off with the little Canon. You who
