Continuing through photos made with the second roll of film I shot using the Leica IIIc body... I was testing different lenses on the camera with this roll. This photo is made with the SMC-Pentax-L 43mm f/1.9 Special:

Ladies At Lunch - Santa Clara 2024 :: https://flic.kr/p/2q8p8g2
Leica IIIc + SMC-Pentax-L 43mm f/1.9 Special
Fujifilm ACROS 100

Regards the lens testing: by and large, all of the lenses I've tried perform well. The 43 feels a little bulky on the IIIc body; I feel best fitting the IIIc with Color-Skopar 28/3.5 and 50/2.5 lenses, as well as a period-correct Leica Elmar 5.0cm f/3.5 collapsible, of the lenses I have on hand. One of the Voigtländer Color-Skopar 35/2.5 lenses might be nice too, and they're not terribly expensive on the used market.

enjoy! G

No matter where you go, there you are.
