Monstera deliciosa! The BG is the garden wall some 7m beyond. The large
bed in between has been stripped of old plants & will be repopulated
with rocks & aloes.

I know the fruit is regarded as good to eat (hence the specific) but I don't remember ever seeing one in fruit, even though I've seen some massive ones. Have you tried it?

Yes, a bit like Pineapple. We have several plants in our garden but have
had very few fruits - no idea why. They grow very easily in our climate.
