I’ve been playing around with panoramic photos for the last year or two, trying out different methods from stitching, to an anamorphic lens, the pano function on the iPhone, a couple of apps, and a 1972 Soviet Horizont camera. I even have a medium format panoramic pinhole camera, but haven’t used it yet.
So I’ve put together a panorama of the year which might interest some of you. Some of the photos are more successful than others, of course. They were taken in a variety of places in the UK, France, Italy, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

You have become most proficient: wonderful architectural shots and fabulous landscapes. Well done. Which tool was most useful?

That's a very nice year of bread.
One of those photos is of a three level bridge. Are the two lower levels just shorter arches for some engineering reasons? Or is it three different roads? Maybe two levels for cars and one for trains?

Wow - amazing collection Bob. The colours just pop out of the screen. Detail exquisite. Stunning composition. Need I go on??
This one stopped me in my tracks (luckily the last image!)

It looks like an AI mishmash of Stonehenge and Easter Island. Where exactly is this?
Thanks

Not sure exactly. AI was wandering around SAIlAIsbury PlAIn during the recent solstice when a drowsy numbness o’ercAIme me. AI AIwoke with a delicious taste of AIster eggs in my mouth in a wondrous place. I saw an angel (they, them, their) standing in the sun who told me that Pharaoh commanded he/him/his pyramid builders to sail from Easter Island in their stone boats across the Pacific, yea even unto Swindon, west of Slough, and show those crude Beaker People how to build stone things properly, and to get payment most sharpish, even before they commencethed their labours. And when agAIn I/me/mine didst open mine eyes I was in the Travelodge AImesbury and verily did yonder wonder standeth before me on mine computer screen.

BobW:
That's a wonderful collection of photos! Enjoyed the whole set!
But I think Cotty's onto something there ... That one stopped me too. Hmm hmm hmmm.
I'll be pulling the AI plugs out again. Can't let those things get out of hand ... they can do serious damage! 😱
(... I'm only partially joking ...)
Great work regardless! Thank you!
