I've been having some issues with my trashcan mac. I'd been hoping to put off replacing it until I could get something much better, but it looks like I need to go for something stopgap.
It seems like the biggest bang for the buck right now is in the 2019 mac pros. With all of my backup drives etc. a bunch of external ports seems to be an important issue, and one nice thing about the 2019 mac pros is that I can put in internal SSD cards, or increase the ram if I need. I found some on ebay with 96GB memory and 2TB SSD for about $1400, I think it has a radion 580 gpu.
What features make the biggest difference in real world performance on lightroom?
Are there any t-bolt 3/usb C dongles that do a much better job of giving me a bunch of USB 3 ports?
