Zero Pentax content, but some may be interested in our latest video about a 1908 gaff-rigged cutter called Golden Vanity, newly refitted and sailing in southern England.

Camera was a Sony F3 and mostly Nikkor 17-35/2.8 but a bit of Canon 24-105/4 as well

Running time about 13 minutes.

Did you "sail upon the lowland, lowland, low
... sailed upon the lowland sea"?

That’s a nice bit of film. I’m shooting some video later today for a friend’s Instagram - a pottery studio, so very static compared to your film. I’ve never edited video before, so have never given it much thought, but very interesting to see some of the things you do, which would never have occurred to me.

Nice video! I shared with a sailor friend in California, so the Golden Vanity is on its way to being a round-the-worlder…

Thanks Stan.

Tom’s videos have a good international appeal. He does a monthly Zoom just chatting sailing stuff and last night one guy dialled in from his old 60’s wooden boat (a Laurent Giles Vertue) actually sailing off Chesapeake. He has quite a few north American subscribers. You could point your mate towards

https://www.tomcunliffe.com/

there’s loads of free stuff on there as well.

Thanks, Cotty. I really enjoyed that. I have forwarded to my younger
brother in Natal who spent 7 years sailing around the West Indies on a
46' Ferro.
