While I was home, after I had brekkies on Saturday I remembered that a friend told me there was going to be a car show that day in Brookdale. I happened to have my u4/3 camera with me because of a previous errand.
I think that a few years back I posted some photos of a hotrod named Bertha, made out of a fire truck. The same folks were showing a trike at the car show:

It was a fun visit. I ran into a friend who had been my student at the race track in the V8 MGB, someone with a supercharged MGBGT, which unlike my supercharged MGBGT is running, someone I had gone to high school with who at that moment was chatting with someone I met on my last trip to burning man 15 years ago. I also saw the friend who told me about the show (with the Plymouth Road Runner).
For them that like such things, the whole album:

It turns out I posted photos of Bertha back in 2010

My favourite Lehrer quote:
"If, after hearing my songs, just one human being is inspired to say something nasty to a friend, or perhaps to strike a loved one, it will all have been worth the while."

Wich is exactly why I've never liked him.

But Ralf, he was making the opposite point. that's why it is called
sardonic humor. If you heard that line when he was performing you
would miss the "just kidding' aspect I think.
I only have his records and seen tv recording of his live performances..
sorry I never saw him in person.
