January PUG comments

Two of the images in last month’s PUG are burned into my mind - I can’t stop seeing them!

John’s Eclipse was just a masterwork in minimalism. All other things equal, I think I prefer eclipse images where the sun is just emerging out of the shadow, but still John’s image is just about as good as you can get IMNSHO. No distracting elements, nicely framed, just the sun and moon.

And then there is Paul Sorenson’s Fiesta!! I like the colors, the overall composition, the placement of the objects within… Nicely conceived and nicely done.

The PUG is always a treat. Thanks again Brian.
