Is there something more to it than maintaining the list of quotations that
folks call out to be 'MARK'ed (and add the occasional side quotation of
course)?

If not, then I'm game to take it on.  I've been collecting quotations since my
college days anyway.  I have a PDML-file that has (most of) the ones flagged in
2021 and 2022 already anyway.

If there /is/ more to it, spill the beans...?  Maybe I'll still sign on the
dotted line anyway.  (I know, I know, press hard, you're making three copies.)

All of that given Mark being okay with it - as has been remarked before, it's
his baby...

Basicallly it was just his making decisions of what things were worthy of quoting.
People would MARK things they liked, to bring them to his attention, or just show their  appreciation.

If not, then I'm game to take it on.  I've been collecting quotations since my

It’s basically a job of curating, and dealing with people who disagree with your decisions.

If there /is/ more to it, spill the beans...?  Maybe I'll still sign on the

Mark is the one that knows exactly what was involved.

All of that given Mark being okay with it - as has been remarked before, it's

I guess you would need someplace to publish the annual list?
