John, in my experience, from my perspective, the monthly themes are themes. Suggestions. I have never seen any indication that any image has been rejected because it wasn’t judged to be On Theme. So, send what you feel you would like to display to the group. I personally would feel very comfortable sending in a previous eclipse photo, and in fact had been trying to recall where mine are. Then I remembered that those B&W negs were destroyed in our 2020 flood. . . But sure, do it.
