We got home two days ago and have almost overcome the jet lag. I've
managed to put up a gallery of photos from our bicycle trip across
Austria and the Czech Republic.

This is a very enjoyable collection of photos.  Joy and I have visited both cities, but certainly didn’t bicycle between them!

Impressive! Love all the little hidden alleyway shots - splashes of colour etc. Really nice. Looks like a great trip for you both.

If that trip was as good as the photos I really envy you.

using that great pano as a marker , I have to say I enjoyed all the
stuff after that point much more than the stuff before it.. because what
you were presented with after that point was more interesting .. The
little glimpses of side streets and oddities are wonderful....  I
confess to not liking the architecture in Salzburg

the night shot along the water  was one I did like - maybe because the
buildings were in silhouette :-)

Glad you were in good enough shape to do that much.. and I bet you ate
well in Prague.

The cycling was great but we didn't bike all the way into Prague
because the roads are too dangerous and there's no scenery to speak of
for the last 50 miles or so. Still, the group we rode with was
wonderful. Lots of doctors and lawyers (it was an expensive package)
but nice folk. Oddly enough, the food in Prague was the worst of the
trip. We were booked in at a 4-star (by whose accounting?) restaurant
with a chef who had no idea how to make anything vegetarian. Literally
every other restaurant on the trip was better. In fact, the airline
food on the flight back was better!

We didn't get to spend enough time in Prague, so we'll have to go
back. Very crowded and touristy, but the architecture is magnificent.

You sure get around. Most enjoyable. Nothing like that in my part of the
