How about resurrecting Synchronicity.

The last one was Oct 2014 IIRC.

Bill, remind me… That was when we all captured an image on a given day and used that image for our PIUG submission?

At a given time on a given day - I think there was a small leeway.  Maybe an hour each side?  IIRC, it was an equinox.

I thought it had something to do with "World Photography Day", August 19.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O._P.Sharma(photographer)#World_Photography_Day

It's kind of hard to pick a TIME agreeable for everyone, because when
it's DAY here in the U.S. it's NIGHT in much of Asia & Africa ... some
people would have to get up way too damn early in the morning and some
would have to stay up to late at night.

But SAME DAY, one 24 hour period, would be doable.

I think Synchronicity predated World Photography Day. Because of the time differences I think we took an honesty-box approach and asked people to do it as near as possible given their circumstances to the equinoctially decisive moment.

Anyway, I had a think about possible subjects some time ago, so here are some suggestions.

Three colours
Cinema
Tracks and bridges
Road trip / the open road / Odyssey
Dark side
Empty / negative space
Ghost town
Stairways
Alpha and Omega
Artificial colours and flavouring
May contain nuts

Yes, that would apply to most of the members of the PDML, though
obviously not you.

Being particularly sane and all.
