It's been a week ...

Not necessarily a GREAT week, but a week.

A week ago Tuesday my heat-pump just gave up the ghost. Thursday night
overnight was the first REAL cold night we've had this winter ...

I got bids and was going to have the work done this week, but then the
high bidder called me back and said they could do it for a thousand less
than the low bid IF I could schedule it for last Saturday because they
had some guys who wanted to work & they needed a job for them to do ...

So, Ok!

Meanwhile, on Monday I had a really bad dizzy spell - bad enough I had
to call my brother to come take me to the emergency room because I
couldn't drive myself ...

Diagnosis:Mild Orthostatic Hypotension - "Diastolic BP drop of 10mmHG
from sitting to standing"

Tuesday, my brother was back over to use my washer & dryer (since I had
disrupted his laundry day at the laundromat). I had a scheduled doctors
appointment where we discussed Monday's incident (among other things).

Doctor changed my dosage on some of my BP medicine (which hadn't changed
in 15 years, so I guess was about due) and one of them will be replaced
with a new medicine

And in all the scrambling around I "found" my K1000, which still has
film in it ...

The weatherman is calling for severe winter weather this weekend;
combination of sleet, snow & freezing rain, so I'm going to try to use
up the film in my K1000. If it's C41 I've got someone local who can
process it. If it's E6 I'll need to send it off.

Anyway, I hope y'all are doing good ... or well as the case may be.

Mischief Managed.

So you had to pay less to have it done sooner.  That could have been
worse.

That sounds like the opposite of my sister's POTS symptoms. When she's
having an episode and she stands up, her BP goes to "might have stroke"
levels.  Good luck with that.

It's nice to have family close enough to visit or help. My only family
is my sister and my nephew each a bit over 1300 miles away in Texas.

And in all the scrambling around I "found" my K1000, which still has
film in it ...

The fun of getting a new camera without having to spend money!
