GESO (23) - Bartram's Garden

I’ll try to make this my last large gallery for a while.

Bartram’s Garden was established by botanist John Bartram in 1728, occupying 50 acres the western bank of the Schuylkill River just south of central Philadelphia.  Parts of it are wild, others cultivated, and it is very scenic.  Two photography friends and I spent a few hours shooting there one morning last week.  As you can see, it was a gorgeous day.

Nothing wrong with large galleries of this quality.

Indeed it is. That rock formation intrigues me - a sort of natural fire pit?

Thanks, Ralf!

That circular rock formation was part of an old grist mill, I was told.
