Brian, thank you thank you for stepping into the void I’ve created by my slow pace during the planned transition!

Status:
a. I have gone through the learning process with Igor on how to access and use the komkon site.

b. I have downloaded the files you dropped to me in the dropbox, have also downloaded the jan26 folder from komkon.

c. I am hung up.

On komkon, I had expected that the boilerplate (e.g., PUG description, Instructions on how to submit) would be in a text/Word file which I could edit (e.g., to update the list of topics for the year, to update the list of past PUG maintainers…). Instead, it looks like I need to go into lines of code which lay down the text on the page one line at a time?

But my biggest hangup is getting started with jAlbum. I’ve signed up, am a licensed user. From my brief look at jAlbum early on, I had expected I would be able to import/copy the basic settings you use to prepare the album each month, just copy/paste those settings for a new album for next month, then upload to komkon.

However, I can’t find the way to do something like that. I remember you mentioning that it doesn’t take much over an hour each month to put out a new gallery. Could you possibly send me a brief outline of the steps you follow to use jAlbum to produce the gallery? I had assumed layout, info display at the bottom of thumbnail page etc. were all part of a “skin” that I could just copy/reuse… But I don’t see the mechanism to do that.

Stan
