Looks like he's crawling out from under the refrigerator, so probably
dust bunnies.

If you double click on the first image it goes to Flickr where all is
told. Then it is easy to scroll through the whole bunch. The Lizard
seems to be casting a skin or perhaps it picked up some cling film? A
very patient Lizard too - it sat in the same place for all the shots.

Maybe I’m missing something but how does one determine which is which?

Under each photo (when looking at them individually, it lists the lenses.
But,
307-317 are 150-450
327-357 are 70-200
372-383 are 100 macro

This isn't how I would have thought I'd do a lens comparison, but
the opportunity just sort of presented itself.

150-450 70-200/2.8, and 100/2.8 macro  AW

I also took a couple of crops with the longer lenses, for final
image comparison.

I forgot to check to see if he is a blue belly.  But both bluebelly and
alligator lizards tend to be pretty chill.

The house is pretty warm, it IS June in Southern California. Even with
aircon, the house was about 75F/24C at midnight. I'm not sure how it got
in.  I do have a tendency to leave the front door open if I'm going
between the house and the garage to deal with stuff, so it might have
wandered in during one of those periods.

As I posted a few minutes ago, I saw it this morning, herded it into a
corner, caught it and let it go outside.

I'm afraid that my mediocre housekeeping skills do not extend to keeping
the gap under my fridge surgically clean, so it picked up a fair bit of
mess and muck under there.
