You just "drove through" Switzerland and Italy"?

Those are two of the best places of all to visit and spend time!

I was 8 or 9 years old, so my input wasn't sought. :-)

This is a very cowsmopolitan group;  I would be interested in hearing about
how widely others here have traveled.

Hmm.

I've been in and through every state in the continental USA other than Alaska, along with Hawaii and (it should be a state) Puerto Rico. Stayed at least overnight in most of them. Out of the USA travel by country, in alphabetical order…

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Canada
Denmark
France
Germany
Grand Bahama
Great Britain
Greenland
Guatemala
Honduras
Hong Kong
Ireland
Isle of Man
Italy
Japan
Mexico
San Martin
Scotland
Singapore
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
The Netherlands
Wales

…as best I remember.

Places I haven't been that I want to visit: New Zealand, Sicily, Alaska, the Seychelles, Iceland, Viet Nam, Norway, Denmark (although technically Greenland is a property of Denmark), India, Egypt, Israel, Tenerife/Canary Islands, Portugal, Cuba, Panama, Fiji … and maybe a few others. Some more than others too, of course.

And I thought when I was 15 that by this time we'd at least be able to go to the Moon on holiday. Somewhere in my junk, I still have the ticket included in the bundle that came with the premium tickets to the New York City Cinerama Theater of "2001: A Space Odyssey"—a pre-order for a flight to the Moon in 2001. Sigh.

I think Ann has visited all 50 states.  To my dismay, I just counted 11 US
states into which I have never set foot (although I have flown over many of
them).

On the other hand, I HAVE visited 33 countries, including the US.  I had
planned to add 2 more on a river cruise that was cancelled because of
COVID, and I don't know if I
