She who must be obeyed informed me that we were attending the Balloon
Festival Saturday afternoon. So I dutifully grabbed the camera and off
we went. An extra $2 allowed entry into the balloon launch area, however
any balloons that left the ground were tethered (I think due to Prez
Biden being at home making the area a no fly Zone).

to Kevin Bacon during pledge night in Animal House.

That is a nice and interesting gallery.  Thanks for sharing.  You have
managed to catch the spirit of the event, and the strong colors presented
by the balloons.  My favorite is the last image, which captures the
literal and figurative fire within.

We have a very large balloon festival a couple of miles from my home every
July, but I missed it this year.  We also had a lot of restrictions the
past 4 years because of the proximity of Trump National Golf Course in
Jersey.  I'm glad to have that behind us.

Nice work. At one time I was well on my way to getting my balloon
pilot's license and worked as ground crew for a local pilot. Good times.
Your gallery brought back a lot of pleasant memories, as well as being
good photography.
