I love my old r220 epson but my fancy new Dell desktop running w in 11
is not playing nice with it.. especially with my adobe photoshop
elements 2025 ..
just want a nice little injet job that will do a good job on my ultra
premium epson glossy paper and plain old text printing too. Latest
version of Elements
with the r220 attached only sees plain paper.  My old HP with Win 7 on
it  recognizes the settings from a file I printed before the switch so I
can go to it
to print out best quality photo but it is beyond slow.  and the printner
is clearly dying..

Really don't feel I can/should spend more than $300 to $400.  I dont
want a scan combo.. happy with letter size prints..

Help!

See if Epson has a new driver. If they don’t, they should have one soon. And make sure you let elements control printing and specify the profile for your psper. Workarounds are always subpar.

Have you looked or a new win 11 driver for the printer? Epson may not have producedone, but there’s a chance they did. It definitely won’t work with your old software.
