PESO: fortress from the air

I recently got myself a new toy, a DJI mini 2 drone, to get some
pictures of the nearby wooded dune area.

Here a picture I took today at 58 meter of the remain of a fortress
built in the 12th century in the centre of our village.

Nice, Henk - the fortress seems to be in remarkable condition for its age.

Quite interesting, Henk, Thanks for sharing. It somewhat resembles a Viking "Ring Fortress." Exactly where is it located? It is very cool.

It seems to be someplace near here:

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Burcht+van+Voorne,+Oostvoorne/@51.9164359,4.1040296,85m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x47c45305104ba2f3:0x3fce65282ae4a6b8!8m2!3d51.9163968!4d4.1040154

I found this, there is probably a better page that doesn’t need to be translated someplace.

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&u=https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burcht_van_Voorne&prev=search&pto=aue

It’s hard to tell how high the walls are from that angle, or for that matter how high they used to be.

Nice, Henk - the fortress seems to be in remarkable condition for its age.

Thanks John, Dan and Larry.
Larry found the right spot.
