The annual car show in September last year was cancelled due to covid but a
smaller covid friendly version is on today. I went a few hours ago for a
look and some photos. Sun was in and out making it a bit tricky. Different
location and a smaller than normal show but it looked well attended. Car
owners are charged $10 at the cgate and it goes towards our food bank.

Wonderful gallery Dave. You did an excellent job light notwithstanding.
Some impressive stuff there, many of which were popular in my youth in
Rhodesia. We were a Chev. family! My late uncle & aunt who lived in
Toronto had a couple of Cadillacs along the way.

Nice stuff. You got better cars than I did. It must be that.

Nicely done Dave! You managed to find some clean backgrounds and the cars weren’t too close together. That’s always a problem shooting shows like this.

Paul, new in town venue at our midtown park so a little more space and
fewer distractions. The volunteers were making sure the cars parked a good
distance apart.

That was a problem at the show I was at. The cars were very close
together, and it very quickly became so crowded that pictures of the
cars without people in the frame was pretty much impossible.

nice job, Dave! I love looking at the old cars - especially the ones
from the 50's - and these two close-ups are particularly nice
in a category of abstract, hard-edge design 3020 and 3054 -
But i only recognize the less than 20 cars my father, or boy friend or
husband had.. because I have photos of them with me in them, or of family.
Other wise it is strictly .. four-door red car, or little yellow car,
or these days SUV as a category.

Very nicely done, David! That is a beautiful variety of automobiles and
photographic approaches. I especially enjoyed D723027, with the drive-in
tray attached to the window. That really brings back memories!
