Our little group heads out to this wetland area by Lake Ontario 2-3 times a
year for various birds, turtles and other animals . Different times of year
for different subjects. Today we were quite surprised to see the marsh all
dried up, for the most part. Locals that bird watch say it's never been
this dry. Apparently there used to be a channel from the lake to the marsh
but a large sand dune established itself a number of years ago and land
locked it.

Thanks.
I have to work on the birds with my K-5 and 55-300 its a bit slower than my
D7200 and 70-200 but if they come at me at the right angle i can get some
decent results

Nice taking a walk with you..
Im thinking 2219 is hiding from 2217...

Lot of pleasant shots, but the squirrel hiding in the greenery is my
favorite.. there is something so un squirrel-like about it..
squirrels are usually brazen and fearless
