Fairmount photo walk

I’m taking a photo course at the Fleisher Art Memorial titled “The Urban Vernacular.” We five students and the instructor took a 3-hour walk through Fairmount,
a Philadelphia neighborhood just north of Center City.  The oldest buildings, a mixture of commercial and residential, date from the early 1800s.

We were assigned to select five pics from the shoot, and next week we’ll have a classroom session to view and critique each others’ work. I chose these:

I like the two flower closeups and the third building shot the most... 
560 20th st  - way more interesting than the other two and better
geometry as well for my taste.

Rick. I'll rather leave any comments to your fellow students. IMHO the
images are all of a very high standard. We don't see anything like that
in our little "dorpie".

That is well done indeed.  My favorite is the first image;  I like both the
composition and the loneliness evoked by the empty bench.
