An innovative Home Enterprise. A black housewife around the corner is
supplementing family income by selling fresh Spinach over the gate. The
whole garden, behind the house too, has been transformed into a
micro-spray irrigated Spinach Plantation. The black population are very
partial to eating Spinach with their meals. She tells me there is a
constant stream of customers throughout the day & she is just able to
keep up with the demand.

That seems to be doing well. We had a whole lot last season growing from seeds that had self-sowed. We don't use it much though.

The thought has crossed my mind before about digging up the lawn and growing either flowers or vegetables instead. But I think I'd hate the weeding more than the mowing.

Cheers,
Dave
