V39 scan samples

Second try - I first tried as a reply to the earlier thread OT: Print Scanner
Msg rejected by the ldml system; too large. Because the chain of responses was too long?


I scanned two photos with the Epson V39, default settings, no processing, straight to .jpg files.

Both of these fit the “old family photos” description. The “newer” image is of my Grandmother holding my 2 (?) year old brother in 1943-44. The “old” image is a postcard from my grandfather toward the later stages of WWI. He was enlisted but never deployed. Probably 1917-18.

I used many but not all of the dpi scan options offered in the Epson scan app: 50, 96, 150, 200, 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 3200.
