Does the monitor have multiple selectable input sources? My old Dell
had four inputs and only lights up when you select a live input with
video on it.

I’ve tried running it off a mini display port to mini display port (thunderbolt) cable. No good. I’ve tried the mini display port to display port cable that comes with the monitor. No good. There has to be a way to do this. Others are using the same monitor. Dell tech support is clueless. Anyone here have a suggestion? I suppose the monitor could be defective, but that seems unlikely.
