PESO: The Sell

How does the 16-45 hold up in the rainy weather?  I think I read that it's 
not weather-sealed.  Is that true?  I can't afford the DA*, but I do have a 
serious cat's eye on the 16-45.  Would you guys rate it as hearty & rugged?
