I do that fairly regularly. Just be sure that you load the film the
same, and be sure to advance an extra frame or so. If you're careful
when rewinding you won't even need a leader retriever.
Note that if it's C-41, it may confuse the poor shmuck running the
minilab, which occasionally leads to improperly cut negs.
