12-24mm supply shortage?

I ordered this lens on the 6th of May from TechnikDirekt.de, but it is still
unkwon when the lens will be delivered due to supply problems of the
supplier. I also noticed shops like TeKaDe.de and fotokonijnenberg.nl don't
have the lens in stock. Anyone knowes what is going on?

Probably due to popularity. The Pentax K10D is now the most sold DSLR in 
Japan. There must be some lens sales associated with it....
